4B - community assembly exercise

Up one level

This tutorial is intended to give you an introduction to: 1) if/ else statements 2) function writing 3) the use of monte carlo randomization and null models for significance testing, and 4) methods to test for non-random assembly of ecological communities, based on species traits. We'll assume that you have worked through the first two tutorials before starting this one. You'll need to download the two associated data files for this to run. Enjoy!
