I am a second year graduate student at the University of New Mexico in Scott Collins lab. I am interested in plant community ecology of savanna grasslands. My dissertaion work is focused on the interactive effects of altered precipitation and fire regimes and herbivore diversity on plant community structure. Its a cross-continental study assessing the degree to which mechanisms controlling community structure in North American savanna grasslands apply to South African systems.
